Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is the legal governing body of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory and as such has ultimate responsibility for the educational, physical and financial well-being. As an apostolate (work) of the Society of Jesus, Strake Jesuit’s board of directors holds the Jesuit and Catholic mission and identity of the school in trust for the Society of Jesus by setting direction, establishing policies, and ensuring programs that build and manifest the school’s Jesuit and Catholic mission and identity.

Strake Jesuit Foundation

The Board of Directors of the Strake Jesuit Foundation serves as a fiduciary, and is responsible for directing and monitoring the investment management of Fund assets which are designated endowment funds intended to benefit exclusively Strake Jesuit Financial Aid. As such, the Board is authorized to delegate certain responsibilities to professional experts in various fields. Currently, Goldman Sachs is the Foundation’s investment manager.

Art Museum Board of Directors

The Mission of the Strake Jesuit Art Museum is to build and present a collection of art that will enable Strake Jesuit students and the people of the wider community to directly experience works of art in themselves, and the statements artists make through their art. The museum’s permanent collection included approximately 550 pieces plus approximately 80 pieces on loan.
