Spring Fling & Raffle

SAVE THE DATE: Sunday, March 3, 2024!

Spring Fling is a carnival with fun for all ages and happens to be our largest annual event open to all Strake Jesuit families and the surrounding community. Come enjoy delicious food, exciting games, entertainment, inflatables, a casino, a marketplace with some amazing vendors, a car show, BINGO, and plenty of fellowship.

Save the date for this year's Spring Fling on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 12pm-5pm, rain or shine!

Each year, students are asked to sell raffle tickets to help raise money for Financial Aid. In line with our Jesuit mission, we aim to serve the Church by serving all who desire a rigorous program of academic and spiritual formation regardless of the ability to pay. If your son attends Strake Jesuit, you have no doubt grown to understand and embrace our mission ...to form Men for Others. By selling Raffle tickets, our students are serving our entire school community while living out our mission.

This year $5.3 million was awarded to deserving students.  The winning tickets are drawn at the end of the day at Spring Fling on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 5pm!

Last year, Spring Fling & Raffle Raised over $575,000 for Financial Aid!
100% of the proceeds from Spring Fling & Raffle benefit our Financial Aid program! 
For the 2024-2025 school year, approximately 24% of the student body received aid.

Raffle Tickets & Prizes

Raffle 
Students are asked to rise to the occasion and be a Man for Others and sell a minimum of 15 entries for our online raffle ($20 each) totaling $300. Each entry will be printed at school and entered into the Raffle Drawing! Deadline to enter is on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 4:30pm. Winning tickets will be drawn at Spring Fling on the SJ campus at 5pm.  Winner need not be present to win.

Any purchases made after 4:30pm on Sunday, March 2, 2025 will be considered a donation to our Financial Aid program and tickets will not be entered into the drawing.

  • When is Spring Fling?

    Sunday, March 3rd, Noon to 6 P.M. on the Strake Jesuit campus. Rain or Shine!

  • What is the difference between Spring Fling and Spring Fling Raffle? 

    Spring Fling Raffle refers to raffle ticket sales by SJ students starting in November and leading up to Spring Fling on March 3rd, where the raffle winners are announced. Spring Fling is a one-day, carnival-like event that is fun for the whole family!
     
    Proceeds from Spring Fling Raffle combined with the Spring Fling Carnival support the Financial Aid program at Strake Jesuit.

  • What can I expect at Spring Fling?

    A wide variety of sights, sounds, and attractions will delight the young and young-at-heart. Come hungry and indulge in your favorite foods at one of over 20 food booths, or take a chance at the Cake Spin to win a delicious dessert. Enjoy live entertainment from student bands, roll the dice at the Casino, or take a "shot" at the dunk booth. Walk around our Car Show or enjoy student demonstrations. Younger attendees can play games like Balloon Stomp, Pet Vet, and Fish Wall in SJ Crusaderland. Our inflatables area is always popular for kids of all ages. While the kids play, take in a little shopping at our many new vendor booths!

  • How can I support Spring Fling?

    • Purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a $20,000 Visa Gift Card.
    • Attend Spring Fling and bring your family and friends.
    • Pre-order food and game Tickets or purchase a Spring Fling T-shirt.
    • Volunteer at the event – we need both adult and student volunteers. 
    • Sponsor a booth, donate gift cards, bake a cake for Cake Spin or a casserole for the Casserole Booth. 
    • Spread the word – Spring Fling is open to the public!
