Theater

The Southwell Players and International Thespians are the theatrical group at Strake Jesuit. The Southwell Players have been a Jesuit tradition for over 40 years. The Southwell players include both the boys and the girls from St. Agnes and other participating schools. They are named after the British Jesuit saint, Robert Southwell.

Strake Jesuit has been a member of International Thespians since 1998. Troupe 4970 recognizes the work and commitment of outstanding theater students. Students must complete the equivalent of 100 hours of quality work in order to be inducted into the International Thespian Society.
Southwell Players Fall Production
Fall Play: "Play On!"
The hilarious story of a theatre group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty author who keeps revising the script. Act I is a rehearsal of the dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance, in which anything that can go wrong, does.

Presented by The Southwell Players, Strake Jesuit's theater troupe. Buy tickets here.
