TMEA All State

John Hill ‘25 is a TMEA All-State Student! John was chosen for this prestigious honor through a competitive process held across the state. 

Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-State is the highest honor a Texas music student can achieve. Students are selected through a multi-level adjudication process that begins with about 70,000 students. Only the top 2.6% of musicians who initially audition become All-State musicians.

John will perform on clarinet with the TMEA All-State Concert Band in San Antonio, Saturday February 15, 2025 4:00pm, at the Henry B. González Convention Center.

 

Thanks and gratitude to our clarinet lesson instructor, Joe Jenkins, for his guidance and commitment to all of our students. John joins Tiffany Liu ‘27 (SAA), who will perform with the orchestra at this same event. John and Tiffany are the first SJSAA band and orchestra students since 2014 to make TMEA All-State.
