Region S&E

Congratulations to our band students on their success at TPSMEA Region Solo & Ensemble (S&E). We had a total of 43 events (33 solos and 10 ensembles) get a 1st division rating - the best possible result. Of these events, 28 (22 solos and 6 ensembles) will advance to State S&E. Students have to perform a class 1 (college level repertoire) solo/ensemble to advance to state.

Students who perform solos are usually accompanied by a pianist and ensembles are small student-led groups of 3-6 students. Class 1 solo/ensembles are considered to be college level pieces of work.

Our results are an increase in numbers from previous years. The most drastic change is our increase of ensembles that advance to State - from one to six! We host State S&E on Saturday May 10, 2025. Congratulations students!
