On Friday, the Varsity Tennis team participated in the 8-team Episcopal Invitational downtown at The MET. Both Singles participants and both Doubles pairs won their opening match to move into the Championship side of the bracket. In "A" Flight Doubles, Faysal Alameddine '24 and Alex Psifidis '23 won the tournament, cruising to an 8-2 win in the finals against St. John's. In "B" Flight Doubles, the pair of Wade Richter '22 and Hurley Qi '22 made it to the finals but fell to St. John's. Both Singles players, Reed Hightower '22 and Owen Leung '24, made it to the semifinals in their respective brackets but ran up against tough opponents from Houston Christian and John Cooper. The Crusaders represented the school well, bringing home some hardware and enjoying a day of competitive tennis.
