Varsity XC Starts Season With 3rd Place Finish at Friendswood

SJXC got their season started in Friendswood on Saturday and the varsity squad ran to a 3rd place finish behind very good teams from Katy Tompkins and Friendswood. Senior Evan Fry led the way in 11th place and was followed closely by sophomores Andrew Bowring and Alex Montoya in 17th and 18th. Seniors Alfie Harper and Marcus Rohrig rounded out the Jesuit top 5. We are off this coming weekend before heading to College Park on August 31st.
