Varsity Golf Showcases Depth

As much as our boys wanted to practice in the snow, no golf courses have been open for the past week. But our boys shook off the rust in impressive fashion, jumping straight into a two-day tournament without even so much as a pre-round range session! Our A Team of Will Gibney, Aaron Griggs, Sean Kao, Alexander Pereira, and Davis Neighbors shot 334-320 over the two days to finish 9th. Griggs paced the group and finished 9th as an individual (out of more an 100 total players), shooting 76 both days. Not far behind was Cole Lising-Pham, whose 76-77 led our B Team to a 7th place finish, despite being comprised mostly of fellow sophomores competing in their first Varsity event! Corey Palm shot an even-par 72 on Saturday, and Collin Burt, Andy Atherton, and Felipe Hinojosa all contributed to their success as well.
