Varsity Tennis - Private School Championships
The SJ Crusaders competed the Private School Championships hosted by Episcopal, at the beautiful downtown MET indoor courts.
In Doubles A action, juniors Seb Dasprez (not pictured) and Brandon Brown went undefeated to claim first place. In Doubles B play, senior Aiden Merchant teamed with junior Dominic King to earn their championship trophies.
In Singles A bracket, sophomore young buck Gael Tapia lost to the top seed in his opening round but bounced back to claim the 3rd place trophy. Fellow sophomore Noah Chen made it to the semis before he lost a close 6-8 match in the Singles B bracket.
Our boys played with class and showcased team sportsmanship throughout the day.
Fun way to spend Valentine’s Day watching some high level tennis being played by all private schools.
