Ten Strake Jesuit Students Named to TPSMEA Region 3 Choir

Ten Strake Jesuit students of the SAA/SJ Mixed Chorus were chosen for the 2023-2024 Texas Private School Music Educators Association (TPSMEA) Region 3 Choir! They are tenors: Nico Arenas ’27, Michael Latiolais ’24, and Nico Puerto ’25, and basses: Christian Attra ’26, Charles Donnell ’24, James Johnigan ’26, Quinn Lesniak ’24, Sebastian Puerto ’26, Ricky Ragazzo ’26, and Dominick Templeton ’26. Of special note, four of our members are positioned as the top five chairs in their sections: Nico Puerto ’25 - 3rd Chair Tenor I, Sebastian Puerto ’26 - 3rd Chair Bass I, Charles Donnell ’24 - 4th Chair Bass I, and Christian Attra ’27 - 5th Chair Bass I. The Region 3 choir members were selected by audition from a pool of students representing twenty-one private schools in our region. These students will now advance to the judging for the 2023-2024 TPSMEA All-State Choir. Congratulations, gentlemen!
