Nine Strake Jesuit Students Named to TPSMEA All-State Choir

Congratulations to nine Strake Jesuit students of the SAA/SJ Mixed Chorus who were chosen for the 2023-2024 Texas Private School Music Educators Association (TPSMEA) All-State Choir! They are tenors Nico Arenas ’27, Michael Latiolais ’24, and Nicolas Puerto ’25, and basses Christian Attra ’26, Charles Donnell ’24, James Johnigan ’26, Quinn Lesniak ’24, Sebastian Puerto ’26, and Ricky Ragazzo ’26. Several members are ranked in the top ten of their sections: Nicolas Puerto ’25 - 3rd Chair Tenor I, Charles Donnell ’24 - 3rd Chair
Bass I, and Christian Attra ’27- 10th Chair Bass I. And, bravo to Charles Donnell ’24 who will receive special recognition at the All-State Choir concert for earning a position in the All-State Choir for four years, a significant goal achieved by very few. They will perform with the All-State Choir in Richardson, TX, on January 27, 2024. Congratulations to each of you for this outstanding accomplishment!
