Dress Code
- Students, it is very important to communicate the dress code to your guest in advance and beginning ASAP. We all want to avoid any awkwardness on the night of Prom, and forward notice is key.
- Men: Formal attire that is in good taste, modest, and appropriate. Suit or tuxedo preferred. Sport coat with dress slacks, dress shirt, tie, dress shoes and socks are required. No head coverings, and standard Community Life norms apply regarding hair and jewelry.
- Women: Formal attire that is in good taste, modest, and appropriate such as formal dress, jumpsuit, or slacks. Dresses should be floor length or tea length (fall between the knee and the lower calf). Extremely short, micromini dresses, excessively revealing, or excessively tight dresses are not allowed. No backless, bare midriff, or low-cut dresses with plunging necklines. Strapless dresses should fit securely. Appropriate footwear safe and suitable for dancing is required. Flip-flops, slides, and bare feet are not permitted.
- The spirit of "good taste, modest, and appropriate" should prevail regarding the dress code. Students who do not abide by the dress code will not be allowed to enter the dance.
