Justin Wang ’25 Named to TMEA Region 23 Philharmonic Orchestra

Strake Jesuit orchestra musician and violist Justin Wang ’25 made the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Region 23 philharmonic orchestra! TMEA Region 23 auditions musicians from all public and private high schools in Houston, Alief, and Katy ISDs, and is one of the most competitive in Texas. As a member of the philharmonic orchestra, Justin will perform Pomp and Circumstance March No. 4, Op. 39 by Edward Elgar, Symphony No. 1 in an A-Flat Major “Afro American,” Mvts. 1 & 3 by William Grant Still and Masquerade Suite No. 1: Mvt. 1: Waltz by Aman Khatchaturian. The concert will be on December 9 at Paetow High School in Katy. Congratulations, Justin!
