Visit Strake Jesuit to see firsthand what is so special about our community. We offer a variety of opportunities to see our fifty-two acre campus, meet members of our faculty and staff, mingle with current students, and experience a school day in action.

Campus Tours

There's no better way to get to know Strake Jesuit than to visit our campus! For prospective families who are unable to attend Open House, Strake Jesuit offers the opportunity to attend a small group campus tour during a school day.

Several dates are available. Campus tours typically last about two hours and are led by a member of the Admissions team. We are blessed to have a beautiful 52-acre campus, so be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes!

More details will be sent to you prior to your tour date. If you have any questions about campus tours, please email us admissions@strakejesuit.org.

Please note that campus tours are not a requirement of the application process.

Crusader for a Day (Shadowing Program)

Our ‘Crusader for a Day’ program gives 8th grade students interested in attending Strake Jesuit the chance to experience daily school life through a student’s perspective. During this half-day visit, students attend morning classes, eat lunch, and have the opportunity to meet with the Admissions staff and coaches or directors in their areas of interest during Community Time. To schedule your son to shadow, please click the 'Sign Up Now' button.

Please note that participation in the Crusader for a Day program is not a requirement of the application process.

  • What should my son wear? 

    Generally, visitors tend to feel more comfortable when they dress in our school dress code: shirt with a collar, long pants, belt, dress socks and dress shoes. Tennis shoes are acceptable if dress shoes are not available.

  • Where is the Admissions Office?

    We are located on the first floor of Loyola Hall.  Drop-off will be outside of Loyola Hall and afternoon pick-up will be in the Admissions Office.

  • Is lunch provided? 

    Yes. Your son does not need to bring lunch or lunch money.

  • Do we need to know a current student at Jesuit for our son to be a 'Crusader for a Day'?

    No. Your son will be paired with a Jesuit Ambassador, a current freshman or sophomore at Strake Jesuit, who has similar interests as your son. However, if you know a current student that your son would like to shadow, we will do our best to honor your request. All visits should be scheduled through the Admissions Office.

  • Can you provide a letter for my son's school?

    Yes. The letter will be provided to you when you pick up your son at the end of his visit.

Schedule your Visit to Strake Jesuit

You can use our online portal, mySJ, to sign up for the Crusader for a Day shadowing program or to schedule a Campus Tour. Please see the instructions below to create an account or access your pre-existing account.
Instructions for Prospective Families
  1. Click on the Schedule My Visit button to the right, or below on mobile.
  2. Select the blue "Create Account" link to create a mySJ username and password.
  3. After entering your basic information, select the "Create Account" button.
  • Our system may recognize you by your email address.
  • If the system recognizes your email address, your email address will be highlighted in red after you press "Submit."
  • If this occurs, select the "Forgot Login?" button. From there, you'll find a link to have a password reset email sent to you.
  • Once you are able to log into mySJ, you will have the ability to complete the online application, monitor your son's progress through the admissions process, sign up for events, and learn more about Strake Jesuit.

  • Please enter your mySJ username and password when asked.

Open House

Please join us for our annual Open House on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 7:00 pm! 
 
The evening begins with a brief presentation in the Parsley Center followed by tours led by current Strake Jesuit students. The evening concludes with an Athletics Fair and a reception where all of the moderators and directors of our extra-curricular programs, department chairs, administrators, and student volunteers are ready to welcome you and answer all of your questions about the Strake Jesuit experience.

  • Explore our 52-acres and have all of your questions answered from the student perspective as a current Strake Jesuit student leads you on a campus tour

  • Meet with the coaches of your favorite sports
  • Learn about the Financial Aid process
  • Get to know your future Strake Jesuit classmates
